Fitbit Versa 4 update query and Community Feedback

Hey when is the update gonna be sent out to all Fitbit devices? And no, I don’t want the same answer everyone else has gotten. I want a time/ date not just “a couple of weeks etc” like what all the other mods has said.

you may be wondering why I am being so aggressive in this post. Well, the developer team hasn’t introduced third party apps to versa 4 yet even though it is the highest voted update to the Versa 4 and sense 2.

Message to developer team: Please can you explain why you didn’t add 3rd party apps to Versa 4 and sense 2, it’s BONKERS! The Versa 2 and 3 has it, so why doesn’t the newest one have it? 

 I know most of this post will be deleted, that’s just because on this forum only good feedback is allowed. Any negative feedback is deleted. This is absolutely bizarre! Many of my posts that complain about something have been deleted as it had negative feedback. I believe a forum should be a place where people can express themselves so the developer team can improve the product.

So in your next internal meeting please go over the most asked for updates and listen to our feedback! Please listen to the community or we’re not gonna buy your products in the future.

Hi @MoDaBro - there has been an update announced but many people had problems with it and it may have been suspended.

Fitbit decided to remove 3rd party apps from this watch model and there is no indication or announcement that an update is going to bring them back.

Given the current state it would be inadvisable to install any update, let alone expect one.

We are somewhat mystified as to the decisions that have been made, in dropping features found on the prior watches and the absence of any tools to allow people to create their own clock faces.

Your point is taken and supported by many but unfortunately it may not change anything, as Google presumably has a plan, they don't provide reasons.
