I travel for a living. Im in multiple time zones a day. My Fitbit used to update the time without me doing anything every time I turned my phone back on when the airplane landed. For at least the past year it hasnt been doing that. Its making me open the app everytime. I just missed an important event because I set the alarm on my watch and forgot to open the app so my watch was an hour behind the actual time. It had all night to update the time and never did. It synced my steps and other stuff but the time didnt change. This has been a minor annoyance for over a year but now its getting to be a major problem. Google/Fitbit go back to the time zone updating automatically with travel so I dont have to open the app everytime. (Yes I have automatic time zone, all the appropriate run in the background settings and the watch syncs just find in the background, it just doesnt update the time)

Hi there @Jaybob321, welcome to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for letting us know that you have selected the automatic time zone.
I can imagine that you have already followed the steps to change the time (How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?).
In that case, I'll suggest doing this:
If after doing this the time is still wrong, please try setting up your device as new. How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Yes, Ive had my phone forget my watch and then re-paired it. This solves the problem once, the next time I go to a new time zone the watch doesnt automatically update. I still have to open the app everytime.
