Not receiving a notification when I get a text on my phone. How to fix?

I have an Android and Versa 4.

Try unpairing everything from bluetooth on your phone. Pair fitbit first and then add back other items.

Hi there, @Phillymomx2. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that the notifications on your Versa 4 are not coming through. We're here to help! @Jeff606 Thank you so much for your help! 

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking whether your Versa 4 is in sleep mode. When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake your tracker, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.
