Why is my data on my Fitbit versa 4 outdated. It’s March 2024 and shows July 2023. Also doesn’t update sleep.

Hi @kjcashman - your watch needs to be syncing to get the correct time.
If it's not syncing it won't show sleep on the watch as this is calculated and later sent to the watch for display.
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hi there, @kjcashman. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is showing outdated data. We're here to help!
As @Guy_ has mentioned, this is related to a syncing issue. Please note that the time will be wrong if your Versa 4 hasn't synced recently as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your Fitbit device has recently synced, go to your Fitbit app and tap the Today tab, and then tap Devices.
If you're indeed running into syncing difficulties, follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article that Guy_ shared with you.
We'll be around if you need further assistance.

@kjcashman - if your watch was on the wrong time there won't any sleep data for time after that.
Once you get the time correct see if you get the sleep data the next night, providing you meet the criteria.
It may be wise to charge and restart the watch some time before bed.

@kjcashman- please see the previous post - and what happens tonight now the watch has the correct time. Any historic data probably won't be recovered, only data from the moment the watch has the correct time should show.

@kjcashman - it wasn't clear, if the app is not showing the data correctly it can be a problem with it or the heart rate.
First, logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active Fitbit window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and restart the phone.
Login and sync, then check your heart rate is showing with a decline during the night.
Second, On the device page in the Fitbit App check that the Versa 4 IS connected to your account and that your phone ISN'T also connected because if it is not correctly setup you may not get heart rate and sleep recorded.
If the watch is faulty and bought in July 2023 it is under warranty and you can chat via the Fitbit App, Help & support section, Contact Customer support for more help.
