Fitbit Versa Update is awful

I was forced to update my Fitbit Versa dashboard this morning. There was no way out, except to choose update. The changes are terrible. The look and functionality is cheapened. The features are hard to find. This "update" seems to be an intentional way to decrease customer satisfaction. I may be shopping for an Apple watch soon.

I can’t agree more with you they have really messed this whole thing up! Must be goggle. I need a Appel watch this Fitbit has gone crazy Versa 4 is getting useless.

What were they thinking? This update is awful. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next tracker too.

Totally agree. This is awful. If they dont undo this I may just stop using it.

You can no longer update exercise. This is not an update; it is a downgrade. Apple to the rescue

I’d like the option to switch back to the old version dashboard please.  Awful not to have the option like Outlook give their clients. I just hope you get enough complaints from long term users to take our wishes into account

OMG who on earth thought that this update was fantastic!!!!! 
it looked sophisticated before.. 🥰

now it looks like a child’s app!!! 😡 

return it back to how it was… please 🙏 

otherwise you will loose customers including myself!!! 😡

I wish I hadn't installed it.  What I don't like the most is "Exercise days" section. Instead of seeing all of your work outs with the map on one page now you have to select the month then select the week. Stupid-not an improvement. Also not showing max heart rate anymore for each workout-just average even though you can see it on the graph. And why are the lines so thick on the route on the map? Please make them thinner. Noticed when switching from "Heart rate zones" to "pace" app freezes the goes back to home page sometimes.

I also will be shopping for Apples watch. Everything touched by google turns to 💩.. Should have left Fitbit ALONE. TAKING SPOTIFY OUT OF VERSA 4 WAS A STUPID MOVE.... The updated app looks cheap and very generic. So google of them.

Gotta wonder if smoggle laid off all the in-house engineers (if Fitbit had them) and used contract engineers. See 194.61 disaster.

I agree.  This update is gross.  Is there anyway to revert to the next-to-latest version?

I agree. I lost my sleep data and other data info and feel like I'm starting over from square one.  I hate new setup.  I had gotten a new one in August of this year(2023). There was nothing wrong with the old dashboard.  Think I'm done with fitbit. I've  had 2 previous fitbits that i have had to update, then buy new over 5 years.

Ugh. Sorry for your experiences with this product! I've generally been
happy with Fitbit. Until now! I wish someone from the company would reply!!
It seems like it was a deliberate move, to get us to pay for some premium
product or something.

The new app update is terrible.  Half the features don't work and since the update I don't get text or phone calls on my versa 4. I contacted customer service and they do not have any answers.  

Thanks Google for ruining Fitbit.

Update:  10/11/2023

Mine cycled through overnight.  So far, other than sleep data, that thinks I'm on a new 14 day sleep and starts over. I'm staying with Fitbit.  Guess I'm impatient sometimes.

I agree with all of these comments that say that this new update is horrible. I do too wish that there is a way to go back to the other format. I have a visual issue and it’s very difficult for me to follow this new app. I hate it and if I could, I would go with a different watch different company, example Apple

Because of the new update the sleep isn't tracked properly!

It looks like something created by children for children. The ONLY purpose
of this app change is to force us to switch to the Google app...
