Fitbit Versa 4 & Versa 2, my experience

I've had it for 2 weeks now and the heart rate accuracy is AWFUL. Nearly every day it picks up the wrong heart rate especially when I'm doing HIIT workouts and literally SWEATING. Versa 4 says my heart rate is below zone for the ENTIRE time. What a joke. How is there no way to "calibrate" the heart rate monitor? It completely skews the rest of my data for the day and it is so frustrating how unreliable it is. Who even though of this new strap design?? Now it's either too loose or too tight with nothing in between. I adjusted the band hoping it will help the heart rate accuracy but NOPE. Dear fitbit, thanks for nothing but an expensive piece of inaccurate worthless plastic ugh

Oh ya, it's really bad and inaccurate. Especially compared to my old Versa 2 (may it RIP 😢).

I've been wearing a chest strap HR monitor ti compare values and wow is soooooo off and bad. My HR will be at 175 doing HIIT and the Versa 4 reads 105  Not only that but the display severely lags/freezes (I have AOD on for exercises thinking maybe that would help the HR inaccuracies,  it doesn't), it will stay stuck on a time elapsed and HR for 30+ seconds so I can't even see my current in the moment stats.

The picture is my HR readins after doing bike sprints. The Versa 4 never matched and went above 110

Hi @Sjh103 - the older Versa 2 has a more accurate HR if that is essential and features the Versa 4 doesn't.

Did you know if you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

fitbit censors comments now apparently. maybe they should be working on improving the versa 4 programming instead of deleting disappointed customers' feedback

My opinion only.

I have had my Fitbit Versa4 for approximately two years. I consider it the best.

Help is readily available and easily accessible.

I have nothing but praise for Fitbit Versa4. Any assistance/help is readily available with a positive response.

My Fitbit Versa4 HR is accurate. It was compared with medical equipment. The readings were the same. (for me).

I have been a Fitbit Versa4 user for approximately two years. My prior Fitbit didn't include phone calls.

Apart from that, obviously, I use my Versa4 HR as a rough guide. There were no problems regarding the functionality of that Fitbit.

Happy Versa4 user.
