GPS track not showing

Versa 4 GPS track is not showing on the map, despite recording the correct distance of 5.7k it only shows 1.8k.  I have seen this before on the bike setting nut this was a run
I up load the track intoa 3rd party software afterwards and usually that shows the entire track but this time not.
Any ideas, anyone....  please, annoying

I had it on my Inspire 3 tracker but not since I upgraded to Versa 4.

Thanks ConGun, I have seen it only on the Versa and many times on Walk and Bike. I don't recall on a Run, frustrating.  I don't see how I fix it as a user.

Mine worked today, I started a walk manually on the watch instead of letting it auto-detect and I did get the map.

Its an intermittent thing I have seen before, usually on my bike tracking when it measures the distance but fails to show the map track on the Fitbit App.  BUT sometimes the full trail will show when I upload it to Garmin or Fetcheveryone.com

My Versa 4 frequently does not show a correct GPS track. I think it loses the signal too easily so any exercise shows up as a straight line between somewhere after the start and before the end. Completely useless track. It rarely records the correct track…

It measures the track distance fine.  sometimes, like yday it didn't show the track on the Fitbit All but when I upload the track into 3rd party software (which I always do) it had the complete map and route.
Ridiculous.
