I like to do a combo of running and walking. I always chose run as my activity so that it will tell me my splits. The problem is, Fitbit keeps ending my run if I walk for a while. It’s extremely frustrating because, if I don’t catch it, it misses a huge chunk of my workout. I have to start a new workout and then have two recorded for the day. I had an older Versa and this was never an issue. If I set it to run it recorded the entire workout as a run. It didn’t try to auto detect the workout and end it if it decided my pace wasn’t a run. Not sure if this is an issue with the versa 4 or if it’s an update in the app. I do have the auto detect turned off for runs and walks but that doesn’t seem to do anything at all. Is there any way to stop this other than switching to Garmin?

Hello @HRanee and welcome to the Community. The Versa 4 has a feature in the Run settings, not available on some older Versa models. It is an Auto-Stop feature. This is the description: End exercise in about 10 minutes if not running. Open the Exercise app, then choose Run. Swipe (way) up on the screen until you get to it. It looks like it is On by default. Toggle it Off and see if that helps.
