I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 4 is still receiving notifications you don't want. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
To better assist you, would you mind letting me know what notifications are you receiving? Are they from a third party app (WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.)? Are they goal notifications?
If you want to turn off a third party notification, please make sure that you've tapped the Today tab, and then tapped the devices icon > your device > Tapped Notifications and went to App Notifications and you'll see the option to the app you want your Versa 4 to stop from sending messages. You can find more information about notifications in this article as well.
If you'd like to temporarily disable all notifications, you can also turn on the Do Not Disturb Mode on the settings app of your Fitbit device.
If you're referring to your step goal, please note that at this time it's not possible to turn off your goal notification.
Nevertheless, you can always change your goal to increase or decrease your steps or change the main goal for other stats like calories, active zone minutes, etc. For more information, see How do I track my health and fitness goals with the Fitbit app?
