Hi all. I'm having issues with the heart rate monitor on my Versa 4. Quite often it doesn't read a heartbeat at all even if I tighten the strap and move it to a different part of my arm. If I restart it then it starts to work again but it can stop reading a heartbeat again the same day. I think having to restart it so often is unacceptable especially since I paid so much for it. Another issue I have with the heart rate sensor is that it often displays an incorrect heartbeat. Earlier after some exercise it was displaying 78 bpm but when I counted it with a stopwatch I got 124 bpm. The only thing I can think of for the error is that my tattoos are blocking the sensor. Does the sensor not work if you have tattooed skin? I have tattoos on both arms and the only areas with no tattoos are the end of my wrists where my hand starts and it can be uncomfortable wearing it so far down. Thank you in advance for any replies I may get
Aaron

I have the same issue with versa 2. I contacted support twice and the second time they just said they're aware of it but have no fix. My husband's hr just completely stopped working 8 mos in. We took a shot and bought two more recently hoping that was just a fluke, but I don't think there will ever be a fix and I'm glad both of ours are still in the return window.

It's good to see you participating in the community @Aaron986 @Katie3456
Thank you for taking the time to share the experience with your Versa 4. Sorry to see the difficulty that you are experiencing.
I recommend that you try restarting the device again using the three pulse restart method mentioned here below, instead of the restart option found on the Charge 5 itself:
In addition, please follow the instructions in this article to improve the accuracy of heart rate information and check the information mentioned here about other factors that could affect your heart rate reading, this has been useful to other users who have experienced something similar.
@Katie3456 I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this. In this case, they will let you know how to proceed. Please keep an eye on your inbox.
