Is it worth getting a Versa 4?

So, I've had my Versa 3 for a couple years now, and for the most part it's a great device with one massive flaw...it's build quality is terrible. The face of my Versa 3 has fallen off on 6 different occasions now, and I've had to glue it back on with T-700 glue...it lasts for a few months then comes off again (at this point, don't know whether to blame the Versa 3 or the glue lol). It's not like I'm rough with it, you just wake up one day and notice the screen is coming loose again. Plus I've gone through quite a few silicon bands for it, they're cheap to buy so it's not a huge deal, but it's crazy how much this thing just doesn't want to stay together. 

But I was wondering if it was time to upgrade? The specs don't seem to be that much of an improvement so I'd be relying more on build quality here...I don't want to pay that kind of money for another device where the screen is just going to come off in 6 months.

Not now, the Versa 4 has huge flaw updating firmware so it's not usable at the moment. Many people have this issue. This forum has many threads about it.

I would recommend not switching to the versa 4. The Versa 4 is pretty much a downgrade from the Versa 3. Versa 3 has much more features and you are better off with the Versa 3. Don't switch.

Hi @TheViper4Life - build quality is an issue and the seals do fail. Have a look in the forums there are some posts about glue.

Thanks, it was actually these forums awhile back that lead me to the T-700 glue, it dries into a rubber like gasket, supposed to make the fitbit waterproof again, but I've never tested that theory. It's pretty cheap on eBay or Amazon. But I'm worried with it being so cheap is why it fails as much as it does.
