Ho @Forusqad - the specifications say it is water resistant.
"Water Resistant
Water resistant to 50m. After getting the band wet, we recommend drying the band because, as with any wearable device, it's best for your skin if the band is clean and dry. Learn more."
However there have been many reports of some watch seals failing, with faces even falling off. So while you can use it in water and it can be replaced if the seals fail during warranty, it may be wise not to temp fate when getting near the end of warranty.

Hi there, @Forusqad. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums.
As @Guy_ has mentioned, Versa 4 is water-resistant to 50 meters.
Although the Versa 4 is water-resistant to 50 meters, I have seen that sea water (salt water) tends to damage many electronic devices, so it's always recommended that you follow the steps listed in the Wear & Care guide, and to dry the watch before wearing it.
Keep in mind that these devices are more designed to be worn at a pool, river or lake, so I wouldn't recommend to use in salt water for a prolonged period of time. You can find all the information in this article.
