So I have a Versa 4 that got the update to Google Pay/wallet. For some reason I could not add a card from one of my banks to it. All others worked fine. Contacted the bank as in the set up of the card it asked me to contact the bank for authorization and would not offer the choice of text, only telephone.
After this the bank said it's all good on their side but still would not add cards. Fitbit support said clear all cards and try again, did this and then I can now no longer add any cards to the watch at all. And it even gets some cards blocked by the issuer for 'fraud'
As always fitbit support has not been at all helpful, even at one point asking me to factory reset the versa 4 which resulted in going back to Fitbit pay for a week so I could not even try and add cards because the Fitbit app was Google pay.
So I'm starting the RMA/refund process today. Has anyone else had this issue?
I'm UK based and the cards that would not even add to start with are Santander.

The app tile won't even open for me in the Fitbit app and Fitbit CS says they are aware of the issue but do not see a solution in the near future. Very disappointing as I did a lot of research into smartwatches before purchasing the Versa 4 yesterday. Also disappointed that there is no music app for the Versa 4 and no access to 3rd party apps. I'm in the US and my cards that apparently are not supported are Capital One VISA and Wells Fargo Visa. I wish they would let us roll back to Fitbit Pay. I have never used it but would like to try it. Beats the option of not having the use of any contactless payment method from my watch, which was probably the main reason I purchased it. .
