Just Not a Good Tracker

Less than two months ago, I upgraded from a Versa 2 to a Versa 4. This was a mistake. I could never turn off the activity notifications that annoyed me during exercise without turning off ALL notifications. It also kept trying to stop tracking walks when I wore long sleeve shirts. However the worst problem was that it was off by 30%-40% on my HR when I was working out strenuously. I did all of the troubleshooting and finally just gave up. Thankfully, I bought mine at Costco and they took it back. I'm going back to Versa 2 - happily.

Hi @DGunby - thanks, that's a good recommendation for Costco customer service and effectively the Versa 2 has features the Versa 4 doesn't and is a great little watch, more polished and reliable.

frankly this is hilarious reading here how bad the versa 4 is compared to its predecessors, but really you cant turn off the activity notifs, I was basically about to search that next because it's like "walking detected", well DUH of course I KNOW I'M WALKING

@My1xT - did you try pressing the watch button to select Exercise and Walk, then scroll up and adjust the various settings, it might be useful to do before walking and then exit back to the clock face.

apparently you can only disable the walking detection altogether, but not just the notifs

@My1xT - with the auto detection off for walking you won't get the pop up notifications but the exercise should still be detected by the app if it meets the criteria and can be adjusted to the correct type if need be.
