Have you tried what @8YL57P recommended? Probably the Fitbit app got deleted accidentally. 

Download and install the Fitbit app from one of the following locations:

To make sure you can use the Fitbit app on your phone or tablet, see Fitbit-compatible devices.

Hello BBeyer. I have just read your post. My suggestion,go into Google play app,you may see the small logo there. If not you can download the new app from there. I hope this is helpful. This is only my experience.
