My experience with Fitbit Versa 4

My versa 4 was working great, I loved it then about a month or two ago it stopped syncing on its own, randomly gives me a red x. Now after charging it over night and then again today on a different charger that I knew was working it still will not turn on. It vibrates when I connect the charger, and when I hold the button for 10 to 15 seconds but nothing turns on. It's charged. And won't turn on. It won't sync, my phone won't even find it anymore. Really upset I loved it so much I've been on fitbit premium for a while. And need the watch for my job as a personal trainer. Now I'm kind of out of luck and don't know what to do. Can't find anywhere to actually get help online with fitbit either. Thinking I may have to give up on the company.

Me too, if my 3 month old Versa 4 is to believed I’m should be dead 😂 lots of conversations with Fitbit over the past few weeks, after doing all the resets etc recommended by them and sending pictures etc etc they finally agree it’s faulty and have sent me some instructions and labels to return it. Reading the small print I might only get a quality refurbished replacement??? The brand new one I bought doesn’t work as it should and is rubbish so why should I accept one that was already broken ?? Asked for a full refund but Fitbit don’t do refunds, only replacements. Prospective buyers should be made aware of this. I have cancelled my premium subscription and will never buy one of there products again and I certainly will be proactive in NOT recommending them to my friends and relatives.

Does anyone know how to raise a dispute or complaint with the Fitbit (so called) Customer Care team and actually get a useful outcome?

My Fitbit Charge 3 broke in August 2024: the bit that attaches the fitbit to the strap dropped off the fitbit itself so it was no longer wearable.  It was within warranty, and Customer Support agreed immediately to reimburse me (I was given the option of replacement or refund and I selected the refund as I thought that would be easier).  That was on 18 August 2024.  They are still refusing to pay me without opening a Payoneer (has anyone heard of this?) account, and have not even responded to my practical alternative suggestions - or my 5 (so far) requests for the dispute resolution policy and process.

Any useful suggestions much appreciated.

Many thanks.

Unbelievably, they have finally paid me, to my bank account!!!

They also sent me a link to a survey for me to provide feedback about my experience ... I have done so, and I hope they find it useful 😉
