My experience with Fitbit Versa 4

Fitbit customer service has COMPLETELY changed since being bought by google.  It is not the same company it used to be.  I’ve been a loyal customer since 2011 and bought countless watches as gifts over the years.  I am fed up with Fitbit.  I WILL BE SWITCHING TO AN APPLE WATCH!!  Do not buy any more Fitbit products!!  

I bought the versa 4 and it has been nothing but issues.  The main problem is the heart rate does not read during exercise, which is the whole point of buying the watch.  Fitbit customer service stalled by having me restart device, reinstall the app, factory reset, etc until their warranty period expired - regardless of when I first contacted customer service. I am done with this company.  See ya Fitbit.

Same exact thing happened to me. I was stuck with a glorified step counter.  Since Google bought Fitbit they have been slowly dismantling every wonderful thing that Fitbit’s Sense and Versa watches used to be. They took away all 3 party apps, watch faces, community support apps, Spotify, etc….  I just got sick of Googles dumbing down of Fitbit.  I have moved on to a different smartwatch company (Amazfit) that doesn’t give you the run around and their smartwatches and customer service is excellent.  Google needs to be upfront with the Fitbit community and stop giving a scripted answer to our concerns regarding Sense and Versa watches.
