My experience with Versa 4 so far

I just upgraded from the versa 2 to the versa 4. Which the 4 honestly seems to be a downgrade. I am having issues every day. My data is not staying synced especially for the sleep data and weather! I am constantly having to disconnect the whole watch and repair it. The vibration is so extremely light compared to the 2. I just want to know does anyone else have these issues with the syncing or what I can do to fix it? At this point I am ready to return the watch and possibly switch to a Samsung? Even tho I really always loved my fitbit versa 2 the 4 doesn't seem to be worth the money!

Hi @Chele_16 - the Versa 4 doesn't have all the features your Versa 2 had and the vibration is certainly weaker.

If you look in the forums people also report the V4 Fitbit App versions can often lose connection which brings issues, like no notifications, and the need to remedy it. (A toggling of Bluetooth may be sufficient).

However the battery life can be a lot longer than other watches. So if you return it be sure to choose a watch with as good or better battery life.

I cannot connect my calls and messages no matter what I do. Not happy so far. Had the Versa 3 which died after two years.

I’ve had the same issues. The versa floor is just not working. It’s only giving me part of the information sometimes none of it and most of the time it’s wrong. How can this even be and I don’t know where to go to get any satisfaction. I definitely need a new Fitbit one that works And there’s virtually no one to talk to. This is so sad.

Yes I loved my versa 2. I had it for probably 4 years then the face piece just fell out probably 2 weeks ago out of nowhere. It still works but would have to tape it back on there to make sure it stays secure so not really a good permenant option. That is very disappointing that your calls and texts won't connect.  I am able to get my calls & texts even though the vibration is so light I don't even feel it when I get a text. Was the 3 better then this? I think if I was able to I would have got the 2 again but it was really hard being able to find it anywhere

Yes I am very disappointed. I really was half tempted to return it but I do like how long the battery lasts but is that enough to make it worth it? I have a Samsung phone so I feel my only other options would be a Samsung watch which are a lot more expensive then this and this is able to do everything I would use it for (when it chooses to work correctly) except for this is lacking some of the games I had on my versa 2. But with how much this doesn't work idk if its worth it. Super frustrating!

I am so disappointed I have had my versa 4 for a couple months and it does not work at all - I have called and chatted and no help - you would think they would replace the watch but they won’t even talk to me about it - the versa 2 was way better it just wore out - I sure wish I could at least talk to a rep -

That is horrible! I tried contacting them about mine and the constant disconnecting issue that the stuff doesn't stay synced but it wouldn't let me contact them it just kept saying error which is why I then posted in here.  I even did a bunch of research before getting it and saw tons of complaints on versa 4 but was hoping it'd work better then others said but what a disappointment. If samsungs had a better battery life I'd probably switch but that is also $450+ compared too the 150 on this. I tried finding the versa 2, which was very limited but looked as could be found on verizon website.  I hope that they will contact you and do something about the issues your having!!

I've had the 4 for about a year. I too was very disappointed. My 2 worked great for several years - until it didn't. I thought I was upgrading with the 4. I find the navigation to be awkward and confusing. Functionally, I never know what feature will work and what wont. Some nights several hours - when  I know I was sleeping will just not show up at all. The O2 sensor maybe  works twice a week. I just do not trust the sleep data I'm getting. It does tell the time okay and battery life is good.

Seeing how many people have continuous issues for an extended period makes me wonder more if I should give it back, since I did just get it (about a week ago) so I only have another week to decide.  You are right though about the clock working good and the battery, that seems to be it.  My husband got one when I did also and had the 2 also and before getting the 4 he commented that he was going to get just a normal watch with the time since his work environment isn't the best for watches anyways but I talked him out of it, but he might as well have got one at this point!
