I am waiting on a reaponse with regards cancelling my replacement and getting a refund instead....

Hi,

I have not returned the device yet but I have changed my mind and I want to return the device and get a refund instead of a replacement.

Will I just use the label provided to return the item?

I have been on to customer support this evening about this and they have advised to email. As i have not sent the device yet I am sure the replacement can be cancelled and a return can be initiated instead without much hassle?

Many thanks,

Hi @SunsetRunner - try chatting with them again - they can surely get it sorted if you are eligible. This is a user forum, you have to deal directly with customer support, reachable via the Fitbit App Help & support section.

Hi @Guy_ , thanks for your reply. I have contacted customer support and was told to email but have yet to get  response. There does not seem to be a way to escalate this matter further therefore I am trying all avenues to attempt to get my replacement cancelled and a refund instead. After years of being a loyal fitbit user, I have now had 3 defective devices in the last few years. 2 of which have been the last 2 weeks, 1 being brand new. And although I asked for a replacement I am finding the support process very frustrating as nice and as helpful as all the agents have been. but there is only so much they can do and they cannot give me an email or a number to escalate it further. Therefore I just want a refund now and I will move to another brand and stop wasting my time. I have spent numerous hours troubleshooting my devices on my own and with customer support the last few weeks, and it's just boring now having to constantly repeat myself. It's time for a change. And I can see from the forum that this is a common problem with fitbit.
