I cannot receive any notifications on my new Versa 4 . No text or phone call notifications! It’s really frustrating. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with Fitbit or my new iPhone 14? I’ve tried everything….anyone else having these issues?

Same! Looking for help this never happened with my versa 2
Hello @faharon
Let’s check your settings. Open your Fitbit App, tap your profile picture then scroll down to and tap Versa 4. Now scroll down to notifications.
‘Ensure that all the notifications you want are enabled. Next, while on the same page tap App Notifications and look to make sure your desires Apps are enabled to send you notifications.
Now go to the Bluetooth settings on your iPhone 14 and find your Versa 4 in the list of conned devices. look for the blue information icon to the right of Versa 4 and tap it. Look to make sure you have Share System Notifications enabled.
Once you are finished remember to sync your Versa 4 so that your Fitbit will accept any changes you might have made by swiping downward on the today page of the Fitbit App.
If your still experiencing issues check to make sure you don’t have DND (do not disturb) or sleep mode enabled. To check this swipe down on the clock face of your Versa 4 and make sure the half moon is not illuminated or the dnd (circle with a dash in it) isn’t illuminated either. You will not receive notifications if either of them are illuminated.
😃 I hope this provides you with an answer to your notifications problem. Please come back and let me know if this provides you with the best answer to your question.
My notifications work on my iPhone X.. but often stop working within hours or a day.. and then I have to reset the Bluetooth, restart the watch, or reinstall the app to get it working again. Very frustrating, my old charge 4 worked more reliably
Good luck! I went through all the steps to get them working again with no help. Contacted customer service & Fitbit replaced it but the replacement did the same thing a week later. Now I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for them to tell me what they’re going to do to fix it or replace it for a second time…
I have the same situation.
Versa 4 and Xiaomi 10t lite.
Ich enabled notifications in the Versa app and also allowed System notification on My smartphone. It works some time but latest one day after that I can't receive any notification.
I have to start the smartphone new and repeat all the steps again .
What's the solution?
Best AnswerIn interest of helping people resolve this.. usually to get mine working when it stops I just need to turn bluetooth off and on, and open fitbit app. Usually that fixes it but if it still doesn't work I take some other steps like force closing the app and reopening, logging out and back in, turning dnd (do not disturb) on watch on and back off.. and if all that still doesn't fix it then restart the watch and/or reinstall the app. I haven't needed to do all that in a while though as the easier steps have been getting it working quickly.
I use it with my iphone so I can't say if it will resolve for android as well.
I have an iPhone as well and it doesn’t work for me, if it does it’s only temporary then randomly I’ll start getting a texts and again - no notifications on the watch… Fitbit has sent me two replacements since July when I bought the watch and it still doesn’t work…
I was excited to get a new Versa 4 but it has many issues.please find some solutions to the problem and send out a fix. The only thing my new watch does consistently is remind me to walk, otherwise it seems other features work randomly. I have been able to answer maybe two calls and have gotten a few texts. It usually just says no new data, needs to sync! I had an old hand me down Versa 2 and it worked more consistently than my new 4!
I was having the same issue with my Versa 4 and tried everything. I finally went to settings on the Versa 4 and for some reason, in Quiet Modes, "Do Not Disturb" had been turned on. I don't know how as I did not go near this feature! I turned it off and I now receive all notifications.
I was having the same issue and I think I figured out the solution. On your iphone, under: Settings>Notifications>Show Previews. That has to be set to ALWAYS. But then this means the full text messages show up on my screen when the phone is locked and I'm not comfortable with this so I had to disable it and deal with the fact that this expensive watch will not notify me of my texts.
Best AnswerAll, I have an open case on this topic, it appears that the watch needs to be synchronized manually everyday, otherwise it looses it’s settings for notifications, and it stops receiving notifications from your phone, I have been complaining about this for the past 3 months. Support has been asking me to do a lot of changes and upgrades, I personally think they know about this issue, for me notifications are very important for my work, I am at my forth Fitbit, I had two Ioniq a Sense and this Versa 4, by far the worst, I have been with FitBit since 2016….
