I have a Versa 4, I can only use my text or phone calls once, then I have to go back and start all over again setting up the app. And it won't let me answer the phone calls. It's supposed to vibrate when a call or text is coming in, and it won't do that either

Hi there, @Tigger407. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 4 before reaching out.

May I know if you're receiving any error message in the Fitbit app regarding the notifications not working?

In addition to the steps provided by @Guy_, I'd also suggest trying the following:

  • Unpair your Versa 4 from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Versa 4.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 4.
  • Set up notifications again.
  • Once your Versa 4 is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Versa 4 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Hi @Tigger407 - you may have several issues.

  • pull down on the watch face and turn off all the icons.
  • make sure to use only one phone/tablet with your device
  • keep the phone in range of the watch
  • make the setup change in the Fitbit App and be sure to sync. See Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
  • make sure the Fitbit App and associated services are being allowed to run in background by the phone
  • restart the watch How do I restart my Fitbit device?
  • Logout of the Fitbit App, swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and restart the phone.
