Hello @Strider56 and welcome to the Community. There is a cross country ski shortcut in the exercise shortcut list. Although designed for outdoor cross country, you can use the shortcut with the GPS off. There are 40 shortcuts on the list. When you open the Exercise app, the list shows your recently use shortcuts. Swipe up to other exercises, then swipe up past the most popular choices until you get to the rest of the alphabetical list. After choosing cross country ski, swipe up on the tiny "^" at the bottom of the screen. Look for the GPS setting and toggle it off. Your Fitbit will calculate a steps x stride length distance.
