Hi all. So I plan to take wear my watch while swimming and learnt that there is no manual water lock feature. Will a water lock feature automatically activate when it detects that I'm swimming? And does taking it swimming affect the microphone and speaker? Do I need to do anything specific after I have worn it while swimming? (Other than the obvious cleaning and drying processes)

@NovaArtist water lock engages automatically when you start Swim activity (from list in Exercise app on watch). To disengage water lock just press side button once. I don't recommend using activity autodetection feature for swimming because touch screen and water are not best friends and before swimming gets detected your watch may be performing random actions. Also, before you disable water lock make sure your hand and watch display are dry. Otherwise, you will go mad trying to navigate through UI trying to end your swim tracking. Same reason - water and touch screen are not best friends.
I can't tell whether water affects speaker and mic as I don't use them.

It's nice to see you back in the community @NovaArtist
Thanks for the inquiry regarding your Versa 4.
Exactly, will water lock feature automatically activate when it detects that you are swimming. It won't affect the microphone and speaker. I'ts recommended to clean and dry the device after being used in the pool.
