The Fitbit Versa 4 literally just stopped working, I had to reinstall it for it to work again. Now the past few days it won't show steps taken until I sync it. Worst Fitbit I've ever owned.

Hello @Asherdasher9088
I moved your thread from the Android app forum to the Versa 4 product help forum where you are more likely to get help from other Versa 4 users.

Hi @Asherdasher9088 - syncing issues can cause problems of all sorts.
The watch should be able to show you any time steps either on the clock face, if it has that information, or by swiping the face left.
For this information to appear in the app and be uploaded for history, the app has to transfer the information from the watch (over a Bluetooth connection, part of the syncing process) to the Fitbit App and then from the Fitbit app to the Fitbit servers over internet.
Should the Fitbit App be unable to perform those operations over either of those connections the syncing is not working properly, or at all.
Some of the data uploaded is processed on the servers and the results returned in the opposite direction.
On a Versa 4 not as much information is returned, or is visible on the watch as on older watches so the only place to see the data is in the app.
Hence the importance of all connections working properly. Any problems, especially with versions of the app, or the phone etc. will result in information not appearing in the app.
So the while the watch may be working fine other elements can cause issues.
