I received my brand new Versa 4 yesterday. I wore it for about 6hrs before bed and it seemed to calculate my ages normally. However today, within the first 2hrs of use, it was registering over 4000 steps which is simply not possible for a person having their morning coffee on the sofa.
I noticed that when I look at the step breakdown over time, I’m seeing the following data over time: 36 steps (3-4am, an early morning bathroom break for our pup), 292 steps (6-7am), and 430 steps (7-8am). Totaling 758 steps. However the tile on the main screen shows 4,232 steps. So while the data being collected is accurate, the final calculation of that data is not. The app was updated on my phone yesterday.
I’ve seen other posts about changing to the dominate hand and such, however that seems irrelevant here. The problem is that the app simply doesn’t know how to add. I suppose I could just delete all the step data for the day and start fresh but if there is some other option, please let me know. I hope this is not an ongoing issue.

Sorry for the typo in the first paragraph, “ages” should be “steps”.
I will also add that, on the main tile screen, it’s now showing the same 4,232 steps for every single day in the past, even days before I owned this device. And my step breakdown for yesterday is now showing zero steps.
