Turn off screen with hand Fitbit Versa 4

With the Fitbit Versa 3 I used to be able to turn off the screen by covering it with my hand... that's not working with the Versa 4... has anyone else noticed this?

Unfortunately it is not possible.

This is one of the features that has been stripped off! But just like the other features you can vote for it to put it back on!

As a workaround, the only possible way to turn off the screen immediately is to put down your hand. That works but still feels a bit awkward.

Yeah it does quickly turn off if you put hand down.. but of course that only works if you’re in a normal position for that

Yes, it’s really bothersome if you just want to quickly check the time. There are a few basic features missing with the versa 4, the UI is a bit is a mess. Everything seems to take a few more steps than it used to.
