Just bought a new versa 4 and trying to set it up. However the app gave me error "turn on blue tooth to allow fitbit to connect to accessories". The blue tooth of my cellphone is ON. I even tried to turn it OFF and then back ON.
The problem has NOTHING to do with phone. Versa 4's blue tooth isn't working: I tried to use several different devices to search for this Versa 4 and none of them can see it - so basically this Versa 4 has NO bluetooth.
As a side note I also rebooted the Versa numerous times so please don't suggest me to reboot it. Am I getting a defective unit?

Hi @10thousandsteps - Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

Yeah I bought from Amazon so returning should be easy. The thing is that I really like my Versa 4 (this new one is for my wife) so still like to see if we can have a fix without getting another one.

These steps are for missing unit... Mine is here, just no bluetooth signal and hence no one can connect to it....

@10thousandsteps - it will ascertain if the watch is working or has a fault, if it is charged.
