The Fitbit app seems to have changed today and is no longer taking into account activity. It is just comparing calories in to my standard calorie goal so showing me as over for most days whereas I have been on target almost every day. Anyone else having this issue? Any idea how to fix?

Fitbit Charge 6. Please fix the daily deficit. It was very helpful

Thanks, everyone, for all the comments so far.
I’d like to let you know that we are actively working on a proper solution to this situation. All the information you have shared with us is greatly appreciated.
I will get back to you all as soon as I have any news.
Hi - has there been any update on this? I am still experiencing this issue and would like for it to be quickly resolved so I can go back to my daily food tracking based on my activity level. Thanks!
Any updates on timing for another update with the fix?
I called again today and received some of the same. There is also another thread out on Fitbit community called “Calorie Deficit Not Working” about this same issue. At least they are being hit with plenty of complaints and feedback. It’s a shame though that Estuardo hasn’t even acknowledge our requests for an update on this forum. A simple message an update would go a long way.

Hello everyone, I hope you’re all doing well.
I’ve been following this thread closely and I completely understand the frustration, unexpected issues like this are a major headache for everyone involved.
I want to be transparent with you, at this point, the situation is being handled by our technical teams. These types of issues require a deep-dive investigation to ensure a permanent fix.
Please know that all the information and feedback you’ve shared here has been forwarded to the appropriate team. While they are working hard on a solution, I don’t have a specific ETA for the release just yet.
Rather than cluttering the thread with repetitive "no update" posts, I will reach out as soon as I have a significant breakthrough or a final solution to share.
Thank you for your continued patience!
Thanks. Today the app is partially working but when I try to change the calorie goal it doesn’t show up in the nutrition/food log as the correct amount. So, it’s almost there but…

it’s been 12 days now @Fitbit @FitbitSupport — when will the known system issue with the calorie deficit be resolved?

Best AnswerHi, when can we expect an update? My Dad’s app went back to calorie deficit at the weekend but mine is unfortunately still calorie goal.
Best AnswerMine seems to be working again this morning. I have an IPhone 15 on the latest update, from a few weeks ago. Curious to see if anyone else is having the same luck. Thank you to the tech crew for resolving the issue for me, hope this is the same for everyone else.
Hi
Nope mine still not working. So would love an update from tech team on how to make it work again.
Best AnswerMine only started working again after I went in and created a new weight loss / deficit plan. Try that in case you’ve not already done so. I still find a few quirks but at least the main thing for deficit is working for me again as of yesterday.
