Hi All,
My Vera’s 4 is double counting the number of steps I do.
I’ve been doing the same work everyday for sometime. It was counting 4000 steps, it’s now counting 8000. Outside of resetting it, which I’ve done and it did nothing, does anyone know why it would be doing this and how to fix it?
Best,
rob

Hi @kenrob2037 ! Welcome back to the forums !
I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to read about this situation regarding the double steps counting.
It looks like you might have MobileTrack enabled.
MobileTrack uses your phone's sensors to count your steps. This is useful when you've left your Fitbit at home (for example, charging).
Make sure MobileTrack is not enabled. The steps recorded with the mobile phone may overwrite those of your Versa 4.
In the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon (top left).
You will then see the devices linked to your account.
If you see the Active Mobile Device (Smartphone) option, tap on it and remove it from the account.

Hi Mario,
I did that but nothing changed, it’s still counting steps twice.
Any further thoughts?
Best,
