Versa 4 - Crashing randomly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My versa 4 is just under 2 years old and has started crashing randomly. It's fully charged and works fine but then suddenly switches off and won't reboot until I put it back on charge. Is there a fix? Or is it at the end of it's life? Seems a bit short for it to last less than 2 years

Hi @WitchyMammaWelcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your Versa 2 that is crashing randomly.

That's actually an akward behavior. Have you tried to restart your Versa 4 ? If not, try it:  Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on the screen, and then release the button.

If the issue persists, check the level of the battery when this random crash arrives. You can see this in the app by syncing right after you put it back on charge. I appreciate your time in this process.

I hope these tips will be helpful for you. Have a great day!

I have done a factory reset, i have rebooted, and I have change the clock face. I got my versa 4 5 weeks ago and its shut down 3 times in the past week. Why isn’t fitbit addressing this? According to the forum, Facebook groups, and youtube, this is happening a lot.

How do we fix it, for good? This morning I woke and my firbit was off, which means my sleep stats are off, and my stress management score will be off? I pay a premium membership and have been with Fitbit since 2017. Never had these issues with older models. What’s happening?
