I have been having various issues with the versa4 GPS. First, how long does it typically take to connect to GPS? I have been unable to get it to connect before I actually give up and start walking or running. Second, it seems to be hit or miss when I actually get a map of my workout. It will show pace and distance, which makes me think GPS worked, but then there's no map. Any suggestions on what to do? My battery was a little below 50% when I used it.
I bought the versa4 for the GPS specifically, so I'm frustrated. I don't like Garmins, but thinking I may need to return this and switch if it's an issue for everyone?

@LH12341 How long have you had your Versa 4? When it comes in the box, I think it has the GPS turned off for most activities. Did you turn it on?
The Versa 4 uses Dynamic GPS, which means if you bring your phone with you, your Versa 4 will use your phone's GPS to map your route. If your phone is not with you, it will use the built-in GPS of your Versa 4. I've included the instructions on how to turn on the GPS on your Versa 4, but here is some additional information about GPS.

Having same issue and no clarity from customer support on a fix. Endless issues with the IOS app since the latest update, starting to give up with Fitbit and might just switch elsewhere. Versa 4 connects to GPS before run, but then doesn’t show any mapping data or km split times once the exercise is complete and the app screen just freezes. Clearly an issue with the latest app update rolled out!
