Versa 4 GPS not working, no map in Fitbit app

Hi,

When going on runs recently with my Versa 4, upon completing the activity there is no map for the activity within the Fitbit app.

I followed the guidance offered in the below post, however it did not fix the issue.

For some reason this person's post is locked despite the fact they also found their issue persisted.

I am using a Google Pixel 4a 5g.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty with GPS.

Thanks to the thread you shared, I believe you confirm that GPS is enabled on your device.

Please keep in mind that if the GPS signal is lost during the exercise, a map might not appear in the Fitbit app. If you're having issues with the GPS connection, see Why isn't GPS working on my Fitbit device?

If the difficulty has to do with the Fitbit app, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Perform the exercise again and please check if the issue is still happening.

I fought this GPS issue forever but the new Firmware that just came out seemed to fix it, but now it has other issues.  The program shows a 20 mile bike ride (correct) but the map and the laps shows almost 32 miles.  If you haven’t installed the new Firmware, I would give it a try and maybe it will fit the GPS issue.
