Versa 4 Google Wallet

Hi Everyone.

Could someone clear up some confusion. The versa 4 says it supports google wallet but not all cards (My card isn't on the list of support cards) (Nationwide UK) But my card works perfectly on my phone via google wallet so why wouldn't it work on fitbit's google wallet?

Could anyone shine some light on this before I purchase one?

I am even more confused than you sińce my card is on the Fitbit's list and is not working either. The Fitbit Support seems to ignore this problem, so I returned my Versa. I have lost any trust in them.

That's a shame. I'm really eager to get one but if I can't use a basic feature then I'll go elsewhere.

I don't think it works because its not on the list of support cards but your Versa 4 will nevertheless sync with Google Wallet 'however' it won't support the Nationwide UK card (which it then prompts you to add separately). The only alternative really is to sign up with an accepted bank (which is impractical for one functionality on a bloody watch) but bear this in mind, many people are still having problems getting their card to sync even though its with an accepted bank. My advice to you, don't buy a Versa 4 at least until Fitbit decide to give a crap.

Same issue with Discover card.  It works on the phone version of Google Wallet / Pay:  https://www.discover.com/credit-cards/digital-wallets/google-pay/

But it does not work on Fitbit's version of Google Wallet.

Discover did not work on FitbitPay.  Fitbit's Google Wallet seems to really be FitbitPay with a new, Google Wallet skin.  Might this be considered false advertising on the part of Fitbit's marketing collateral?

Fitbit really doesn't seem to give a crap about it working once they sell you the watch with "by Google" on the box.  It truly does seem to be advertising a product under false pretenses.

I bought Versa 4 only because it has Google wallet. I couldn't add either cards from The cooperative Bank plc which is on the list:

Contacted bank who said their cards won't work on Fitbit.

Contacted Fitbit who were clueless.

I just want to know does anyone know of any bank card in the UK that can be added to Google wallet on Versa4?

I'm willing to open bank just for this purpose.
