Hiked 5 miles. Never showed up in exercise.

did a hard reset. Turned iPhone on and off. Checked Bluetooth, etc. 

so then I tried to add manually, Hike option not on list of exercises on phone yet available on device.

As a first step could you please confirm me if you already prove that you have currently the latest version of the app like indicated here?: Update your Fitbit device.

How would I know if I have the latest version?

On my phone it says 61.20001.194.61

When I follow the instructions for the app, I click the today icon. Then it says I should click devices. That option does not exist.

Today on my Fitbit watch I close hike. It went for like 2 seconds and recorded it as exercise on my phone. However my 5 miler from yesterday still hasn’t populated and I cannot add it manually. It’s not an option on my app but is an option on my phone.
