Versa 4 Hourly Activity Date will not change- Dayl Light Saving Time Change Failure

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa 4 failed to show any activity.I tried to reset the notifications hours to 0700 start and 1900 and after rebooting the Versa4 and deleting the IOS app and reinstalling, it still fails to adjust and defaults to 0100 or 0300 depending on the number input. Also my sleep reports defaulted to minimum hours recorded and the simple chart was on my IOS phone.

I contacted the help desk chat and was informed by Ivan that  it is a known problem with the "Time Change" and will be fixed in 24 hours.

It would be nice if Fitbit/Google would post some type of notice to save us from deleting apps and rebooting everything.

YES! if there is a known problem there should be a notification that IT is on it. I don’t have a lot of time left and I don’t wanna spend it spinning my wheels.

Just to show how poorly this time change has been handled, I took a 24 minute walk in the neighborhood, and my app reported 5 Fat Burn Zone minutes, and 19 Peak + Cardio minutes. But, it couldn’t report my Max Heart Beat data, because it said “No data available”, or something like that. How are you going to get people to say they really like their Fitbit products when you haven’t planned for a time change? Poor, poor execution!!

Thanks for posting. I was trying to get my times back too.  My times had been changed to crazy early AM times.  Hope they fix this soon.

If it’s any consolation, I had the same problem for the 9:00AM slot, but it seems to have been resolved atm. Ofc, *now* it’s having the same problem with the 10:00AM dot.

But hey, what can we expect? Alphabet, Inc. is the 4th largest company in the world, and you don’t get that high by writing checks/paying people.

It would be even better if they fixed the problem beforehand. I’ve used Fitbit for over 10 years and this new app and firmware update is the absolute worst!

Same here. Been using it for 5-6 years, wondering WTF they did when they updated the app. Seems like every day some feature is malfunctioning.

I’ve found a gear/Settings within the Hourly Activity section of the app. It allows you to look like you’re changing the hours to those that you want, but it hasn’t saved any of the changes I’ve made. In fact, it now shows Hourly Activity from 3am to 1pm, when I really want Hourly Reminders for the hours starting with 7am and stretching until 4pm, which is 10 hours long.

My concern is that Fitbit/Google will mess things up even further, so that my tracking of Hours of Movement, time slept, days of exercise, etc, will become meaningless!!! I hope I’m wrong, but fearing the worst! The people in the corporate offices have nobody to blame but themselves for taking this time change lightly!!!
