Hello @Iluvcows2!  It’s nice to see you here!

I'm sorry to hear that your app shows less hourly activity.

Please enter your app and you can remove Mobile Track by following the following steps:

  1. Go to your app
  2. Tap the icon in the top left corner (it has a small phone and a clock)
  3. Tap where it says Phone
  4. Please remove the phone from your app connections.

Additionally verify if your app and phone has any available updates and check if the issue persists.

Hi @Iluvcows2 - if you are close to the 250 steps per hour at the end of the hour and the watch syncs automatically, the Fitbit App can change the number of steps recorded on the hour boundary due to a long standing bug in the server processing.

So the watch correctly records an active hour but because of the bug with the servers it adjusts the steps, generally downwards, so you can end up missing an active hour being recorded by the Fitbit App that was already recorded on the watch.

This bug started many months ago and hits randomly, by varying amounts.

If you turn off Bluetooth during move hours it will be correct, but not ideal, or sync manually a few times just before the change of hour, also it ideal and tedious.

Multiple manual syncs can correct the errort but has to be done at the right moment.

I have continued to have issues with hourly activity with the app on my iPhone not syncing with my Fitbit.  My Fitbit will have 10 hours and the app will show 7-8 hours.  It only syncs correctly 4-5 times a month.  I will never buy another Fitbit. I have done all the suggestions to fix it and none of them have worked. All that happened when I defaulted to factory settings, deleted the app, restarting the Fitbit etc I would just lose all my historic data.

I’m having the same issue and you told me yo disconnect my phone. But how will I be able to synch my Fitbit and phone? This was never an issue before google 🙄

Hi @Dex56 - you can also only turn Bluetooth off for a test and turn it in on after the hour change to sync again, hopefully avoids the adjustment.

Or alternatively manually sync (perhaps twice) before the change of hour to ensure the full activity gets recorded.

Better still if you did the hourly steps that is the main thing, the watch already confirmed it, and accept the app occasionally doesn't display the correct information because of the random bug.

Thanks. I manually synch dozens of times during the day. But perhaps the Bluetooth suggestion will help. It’s as though if I don’t walk extra steps and synch multiple times before each hour my steps are lost. It’s just frustrating that the app doesn’t work correctly.

You’re right about google. Once they forced us to login via google instead
of Fitbit it all went downhill.
