Versa 4 Notifications delayed

I recently upgraded to the Versa 4 and now my notifications are delayed on the watch. It shows me what the notification is going to be, but I have to look at the watch for a few seconds before the  notification will actually pop up. Is this a setting that can be changed?

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Difnhrjsibxbs!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with notifications on your Versa 4. I'd suggest restarting your device as this sometimes works wonders to get things fixed. To do so, please first sync your device to not lose any data it has tracked so far. Then keep Versa 4's button pressed for around 10 seconds until you'll see the Fitbit logo on it's display.

Nope. Didn't do anything. Although, I'm not sure if this solution would have. Perhaps I should clarify my issue as it seems more like setting and not an error. When I receive, say, a pulse point app notification on my phone, on my Versa 3 it would vibrate alerting me there was an app notification. When I looked at the watch, it showed the address of the incident under a small icon of the pulse point app. Now on the Versa 4 when I receive the same notification, it shows me a large icon of the app that is sending the notification for a few seconds, then the screen goes black for a second, then finally it shows the address of the incident under a small icon of the app sending the message. I'm trying to get rid of the initial step as is seen on my old Versa 3. I will try to get a photo to upload showing what I'm looking at.

i apologize for the blurriness. The 2nd photo would normally show the address of the incident, but it was a test notification inside that app. The 2nd photo is also the only screen that would show up on the Versa 3. I am curious how to change the settings so only the 2nd photo comes across on my Fitbit. For me, this a make or break issue with the Versa 4.

Soooooooooo... Is your only suggestion to turn it off and turn it back on again? How do I get the job of being one of your troubleshooting team? Or are you just an auto-reply script telling me to reboot my device?

No, I'm not just an auto-reply script, @Difnhrjsibxbs. We members of the Fitbit Community Council are volunteers trying to do our best to help Fitbit users in despair.

Google/Fitbit have decided to change the user interface on Versa 4 compared to Versa 3. And the way you describe getting that notifications is the way it's meant to be. If you tap "Open" as shown on your second photo, the PulsePoint app on your phone should open showing you the complete notification.
