Hi Gang
It seems there are 2 types of summaries for your sleep.
I like the one that shows the up and down graph, but it has dissapeared of late and i am now only getting the line graph, can I set my watch via the app so that I always see the up and down graph?
Or is there a specific reason why I am not seeing it?

@Greatness , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.
It seems that you are receiving the simplified sleep record and not the sleep stages:
The following conditions can prevent the recording of sleep stages:
- You record your sleep using the app instead of the tracker's automatic sleep detection.
- The tracker's battery is almost empty when you go to bed (below 25%). This prevents a regular recording of the heart rate.
- You use the metal bracelet while sleeping
- You sleep less than 3 hours.
- The bracelet is too loose or too tight on the wrist. You should be able to put your index finger between the bracelet and your arm without much resistance, so that your heart rate is recorded regularly and the sleep phases can be recognized.
If you tap the recording that doesn't show you any sleep stages, you should get a message explaining why you didn't get any. What is this message?

Thanks JuanFitbit
I can't see any messages on the Sleep pattern screen.
Your message below :
- You record your sleep using the app instead of the tracker's automatic sleep detection.
So, I don't have to hit the + sleep button (which then says begin sleep now) to track my sleep, it will do it automatically?
Regards
Peter

Hi @Greatness - The Sleep button is only to tell the watch to not disturb you.
It is a good idea to set up an automatic sleep schedule in the watch Settings, Quiet mode. That way you don't have to remember to do it and perhaps miss notifications in the morning because you have forgotten to remove it manually.
It doesn't make sleep register better, but sleep sensitivity in your dashboard profile on fitbit.com might.

@Guy_ , Thank you for your help and suggestions.
@Greatness , Thank you for your reply. You are correct, you just need to lay down and let the Versa 4 automatic recognize your sleep. The option to start the record on the Fitbit app, is for older models, like the Alta, etc.
