Versa 4 Still Vibrating Constantly on Runs, GPS Not Working

Hi, I'm reaching out because for the past 8-9 months, my Versa 4 has been vibrating intermittently on my runs - sometimes up to 10x/minute. From previous posts (linked below), it seems this is an issue with the GPS connection not working where Versa 4 is hardcoded to vibrate at you each time you lose GPS and regain GPS connection. Despite many users reporting issues for months, there seems to be a) no way to turn off the vibrations, and b) no fix to the GPS constantly disconnecting/reconnecting.

I was so excited to get the Versa with GPS, but this issue has made it essentially unusable for me while running - it's distracting and dangerous to have constant but random vibrations while running, and the GPS is never reliable for my distances. I live in a major city and run in areas where GPS connection shouldn't be a problem (my phone, other watches, etc. all work just fine).

Is there a way to turn off these vibrations? Will there be a fix to the Versa 4 GPS unreliability? And if not, will I be able to get a refund for a device that isn't working as it should? Thank you!

Previous post - many people asked a number of questions here but it got closed without any solution/updates.

Hi @pocketpenguin - at the start of the run did you swipe up to adjust the settings? There is a tiny up arrow underneath the word Run. There are numerous information alerts that can cause vibration.

Yes - all of my notifications are off for runs (and walks). No heart rate notifications, no lap notifications, no auto-pause, etc. Additionally, all my notifications are off on my Fitbit as well (no high/low heart rate notifications, no zone minute notifications, no call/text notifications, etc.). From everything I read on the other post I linked, this is GPS-related.

@pocketpenguin- just to make sure then, try once with GPS off.

hi @Guy_  yes I have done multiple runs without the GPS and don't experience this issue. But GPS being added for the Versa was the reason I purchased the Versa 4 after my previous device. It's not an appropriate solution to never be able to use GPS functionality while running, as that defeats the purpose of having a fitness tracker on my runs. Really hoping that Fitbit will fix this issue, it's been months with no update. You can see in the linked post that I'm not alone in experiencing this as well.
