Keep hitting the install button, it looks like it works and then goes right back and shows the install button again.
It has the two minimum tiles on there but it will not let me install any of the others.
Restarted both the phone and the versa.
Did a force stop on the app and opened it again. Uninstalled and reinstalled all the same thing.

First time I've ever commented on anything on here but wanted to thank you for finding the solution to this. It's been driving me crazy for days now, I'd have torn my hair out if life hadn't already done it for me.

Mine was doing the same thing and I was sooo irritated. I did all the things you did to try and fix it and it didn't work. What did work:
Go to apps on your Fitbit app
Click on Timer, Uninstall
Then search again for Timer in the apps and it will give you 2 options, the regular fitbit timer and the timer tile. Select the timer tile. This should do it!

Thank you for another workaround. It is crazy that we have to do this at all 😕

This fixes everything...ordering tiles, customizing clock faces, removing or installing tiles. There is nothing in any of the documentation I've seen that mentions holding down the clock face and swiping right to Open Gallery. Apparently, the Fitbit technicians don't know about it either. Thanks!!

Thank you all for your answers, the information and your efforts in installing the different tiles available on your Fitbit device.
I wanted to let you know that our team is already aware of the tile management-installation issue and is investigating it to work on a solution.
Hopefully, the issue will be resolved soon.
I will update this thread as soon as I know more.

It worked for me. The other unistall/install app and clear cache didn't worked.
Very good job.

No nothing works, this is my 5th or 6th fitbit watch. Very disappointed with the Versa 4, touch screen is awful, it won't save the Timer tile. Same issue as others, I Install and it instantly Uninstalls. My screen freezes at other times and I have to restart it. It won't show the display unless I hit the button, even though I have it set for movement. Makes me question whether I'll get a fitbit next time.

Do we have any real updates or fixes for this? I cant install more than 2 tiles. Same problems as listed by other users.
There has to be a fix. Id like use then other tiles, that's why I bought the versa 4!

Someone from FitBit helped me! It works now. Here's the fix:
Hold down the clock on the watchface itself
Wait for it to minimize on the watchface, scroll to "open gallery" (swipe to left)
Then it says "check your phone".
Phone will automatically open fitbit app
Add tiles within the fitbit app
Done!

I tried everything from reinstalling, cleaning catch, to factory reset. For some reason my watch always remember my previous watches, which are not even available in Fitbit app.
After this brilliant move. Holding the screen on watch facing my clock, which got me to the clock gallery and from there I used the option "Open gallery". I needed several attempts and IT WORKED.
Great tip/advice/help. Thank you Oswen!

Thank you that worked! Finally!

Someone gave an answer that helped finally! Hold the watch face down on the watch, swipe the screen to the right, click on open app on phone. Then go to phone and install the tile you want. It finally worked for me.

If you have access to an apple device, try using the app on it. I happened to get access to an ipod at work and I tried out the IOS fitibt from google. The experience was flawless. Once it synced, I noticed the tile order I had set a month ago immediately synced. I am not sure why a good product works better on IOS than android but that appears to be the way the wind blows.
