When I try to answer to a text notification, appears this screen

Do you know how can I resolve?

I have identical problem. Brand new Versa 4.

As of last week, every time I try to use voice reply to text, I get an error. Transcription error. If I continue to hit retry eventually it says unavailable. Quick replies are available. Strangely enough. And it looks as though the app has been changed to an older version so obviously some problems are known about. Also, Google wallet still is not working. Big disappointment for such an expensive device. Sitting in a drawer right now waiting to be updated so it actually works.

Ugh we just bought 2 versa 4 devices today.  What an annoyance that they have issues from the box.

I have the same problem on my Versa 4 after migrating to Google. It's been several days now.

I got new Versa and I did not create Fitbit account but used Google account. I wonder if I can logout and create Fitbit account and try this new account

I don't know if it can be done, does anyone know if it can be done? Also because of what I know, Fitbit is forcing you to abandon your Fitbit account or move right to a Google account

It keeps giving me a transcription error any time I try to use the voice reply feature on the versa 4.

This is usually caused by communication issues. 

Your voice is sent to the cloud, where Voice to Text, then the text is sent back. 

Have you tried restarting the Versa 4, the phone?

I didn't expect the problem I encountered to be so widespread. Obviously I tried restarting the phone, re-pairing the smartwatch, uninstalling the app and also factory resetting the device itself. The only result obtained was just having wasted a whole day unnecessarily. Has anyone managed to solve it with unconventional methods?

I also logout and tried to uninstall Fitbit and I was forced to use Google
account after reinstalling the app. When I chose to create Fitbit account
it took me to Google accounts where I could only choose Google account. I
chose same Google account and microphone still doesn't work on brand new
Versa 4. I checked with my coworker who has Versa 3 and he is using still
Fitbit account and this voice to text feature works for him. I am very
disappointed that I spent over $200 to buy detective product. I hope Google
will fix it soon because it seems that problem is on Google side not Fitbit
device. Only good thing with Google is that I have Google Wallet not Fitbit
pay. Fitbit pay is not supported by major Canadian banks while Google
Wallet is supported. I have to try to use Google Wallet soon to see if this
works ok on my Fitbit versa 4

I posted earlier about all my issues with transcription error. I also wanted to clarify that mine is on a sense2.  Leads me to believe it's a much larger problem than what customer service is admitting to. Absolutely ridiculous. Brand new out of the box. No Google wallet, no voice. Reply to text.

Same issue in UK pixel 7 pro it's absolutely joke.

 First of all Google wallet is not working. Now voice writing stops working... Absolutely joke .! Chinese cheap Smartwatches r better than this !!!

All customer service does is issue replacement devices. What a joke!!!! I truly believe they issue replacement devices to give them time to fix the actual problems.
Waste of money!!!

This is most likely a server side issue, it shouldn't be a single device issue. I wonder if there is any news on the resolution of the transcription problem.

I also have the same issue ever since I linked my fitbit to my Google account my voice to text has not been working keeps saying transcription error please try again I'm staring to think they have not integrated properly with all of the functions associated with fitbit

I've Uninstalled and reinstalled still not working also did a factory reset and relinked still having the same issue

that's two words.

there was a new update marked june 30th. just installed it. still nothing. no fixes for either issue. still have transcription error. still no google wallet.

I'm so tired of "always something" with Fitbit really Google took over Fitbit and now is crap as du.k I will never ever buy Fitbit again ...
