When I try to answer to a text notification, appears this screen

Do you know how can I resolve?

Thank you so much. Unfortunately, I tried those exact steps using my Google pixel 6 phone with my Versa 4 and I had absolutely no good result. I'm excited that yours is working and I look forward to the same result at some point in the future. Congratulations!

 

No good result for me. First I tried to updating the mobile software with no change. Then I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile software with no change. I've been reached out to customer support where I was told once again that my issue would be escalated and that at this time they can see no software update pending for my device. I am trying to send screenshots to confirm this to you but that is not allowed. Any reasonable advice you can offer would be very much appreciated and thank you in advance

I installed new software today and had couple successful replies by voice.
I have versa 4 and android 11 phone OnePlus. There was a time when I was
not getting sms notifications on Fitbit at all so I will do more testing
and let you know

I am using Google account. I was also trying respond by voice in different
language than English and it worked.

I suggest that you shutdown your watch after installing new software. Then
start your watch and sync it.

I have two other very small future to suggest, but they are not bugs. What I do? Do I open a new topic or is there a session on purpose?

Hi,

I've updated mine and tried it and sems to be working for now. Thank you
for the time spent on working on a fix for this. It feels great to be able
to leave my phone in the pocket and communicate just "by wrist"

How are you guys updating I can't find anything

 

Juan I did as you suggested and finally reinstalled the app and still get
the transcription error message.

Go to the Google play store and type in fitbit. There should be a button to
update. Hit that. The update will download and then install. Once it has
installed, your transcription should work. Hope that helps.

check your app store.  if it says open its should be the latest version. my app automatically updated.

The update worked great for me, I updated it though the app manager in Google Play and went to the settings in the app and turned on voice reply and the turned my watch off and on and it worked great. Thank you for fixing Fitbit/Google!!

Yeah finally! I don't know what happened but I just went and reopened the
app and it worked. Super happy thank you to all involved. Stronger in

I'm running the newest version 3.87 and the transcription feature still
doesn't work.

Try to shutdown your watch and restart your phone. Start the watch and sync
with Fitbit application.

Restarted my phone after verifying the update to 3.87.  Using Google account and was able to test the transcription successfully.  I'm happy to report because I was about to send it back.  Happy with the device now, more than ever.

It is still not working and I have the most updated version! How do I fix this? I just bought this Versa 4 in the past few months and I can't even use the voice to text option when I keep getting an error message.

Are you using Google account?
I suggest you uninstall your software.
Install latest version and allow permission to microphone. Enable voice
replies. Set sms as text messages. You may shutdown your watch and restart.
And sync it. I have Versa 4 and it works now after recent software upgrade.

Regarding transcription error on versa 4 on text messages. I went into "voice access" on my phone, then microphone and allowed access and I'm now able to answer text messages.

Finally! Have had text transcription error problem on my sense for several weeks. Almost worked a couple of days ago, and finally today text messaging is transcribing correctly.
