I have no idea who marked this post as "answered", because I absolutely have not and am not at all happy with the support. Having said that, I give exactly another week time to fix the problem, since up to now I, like all the people in this post, have been scammed. After this week I promise I will contact Google. I expect this theme to be a property for the Fitbit team this week.

If you recently migrated your FitBit account over to Google. That is the cause of not being able to voice reply to text messages. I just migrated my account on 7/9/23 and after that could no longer use voice reply. I logged out of the FitBit app and then logged back in but this time clicking on sign in with FitBit. Now I'm able to voice reply to texts again. So I would suggest logging back into your FitBit app using your FitBit account and not Google.

Once account is migrated you are unable to log back into Fitbit. I am one
of those.

It's a complete invariable mess. There's no help in sight. Tech support.
Doesn't even seem to know the issues are going on even though the
moderators say they're working on it. I spoke with tech support tonight and
they had no idea what I was talking about. Unbelievable! My device is
sitting in a nightstand drawer. Waiting for a fix. I also have no Google
wallet.

How were you able to log back in with your fitbit account after migrating to google? I tried to log back into my fitbit account after I migrated to google and it will not let me log back in using fitbit. I deleted fitbit from my google and tried to log back in with fitbit but it will not let me so if you could tell me how you managed that I'd very much appreciate it

I tried logging back into my fitbit account after migrating and it won't allow me to do it

I initially was not able to log back in with FitBit after the migrate, but when I tried the next day, I was able to. Not sure if this was a fluke for me, but worth trying. I definitely will be waiting to migrate back to Google until forced to.

Support told me that they are working for a solution but no idea of timing.... At least he was aware of the situation...

For me, impossible to log in with Fitbit account too...

I also have this problem. This was suppose to be my upgrade from Charge 5 and it just feels the same. I really hope they fix this soon or maybe incorporate Google assistant (I prefer) since they are partners.

When I first found this forum and figured out that the problem started right after I migrated the account to Google, I thought, I'll just log out of the app, then log in with fitbit and not Google. Like everyone else,  I got a notice that one the account is merged to Google, I cannot log with fitbit. So I gave up at that point, but after work I was in my car and just decided to try again and it worked. Could have been a fluke, but it fixed my watch and I can now voice reply to texts again. My fitbit account is prompting me to migrate to Google but I read somewhere that they aren't forcing this until 2025, so I'll wait. Hopefully they will add the microphone permissions on Google, because that's what the issue is.

I use android phone and I have Google Wallet on my watch. I added
Mastercard to Google Wallet in Fitbit app and it is working fine. I pay
with my watch versa 4. Just voice reply doesn't work. I used Google account
from the beginning when I got this watch in June 2023. I never had Fitbit
account.

Every time I try to use voice reply in texts I get this message. I've tried restarting, logging out of alexa, deleting and reinstalling app, turning voice replies off and on. Nothing is working. Please help

Hi there, @KarleeL. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and sharing the details provided in your post about the issue with your Versa 4.

Please note quick replies are automatically turned on for any supported apps that send notifications from your phone to your Fitbit device. For more information, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?

To receive and respond to messages from your device, your phone must be nearby with Bluetooth turned on and the Fitbit app running in the background. To use the microphone in Versa 4 to respond to messages, in the Settings app, make sure the Microphone setting is turned on.

For more information, see How do I use quick replies on my Fitbit device?
