I had an issue with my Versa 4 after only 4 months of ownership. It will no longer keep a charge, and while charging the Fitbit logo stays on for 1 minute, turns off for 5 seconds and repeats. Seems others have had a similar issue.
Also it appears Google knows about it and refuses to honor the 6 month warranty. (I've seen posts where they claim different warranty periods). In my case, they claimed that since I didn't purchase from the Google store (the only "authorized" store on the link of authorized dealers they gave me), they would not replace the Fitbit. It was nice when it worked but save your $200.00. When your new Versa 4 crashes, Google will just say thanks for your money.

Hi @JPC24 it's an old story, but true. Many people find they have purchased from an unauthorized retailer and there is no warranty. It happens a lot on Amazon.
Anyway, if you paid by credit card, check with your card company - quite often there is an insurance you don't know you have. People on the forum have shared that they have been able to get a refund of the money when something happened to their device, by contacting the credit card company. Can't hurt to try.

Have you tried taking it back to the store who sold it to you? I don't know how it works in your country but in the UK your contract is with the retailer and they are the ones responsible for upholding the warranty.
