Versa 4 battery draining quickly

My versa 4 has just had an update and since then it's gone haywire! The main problem is that it appears to charge up to 100% ok, but it then drains very quickly and sticks at around 78%. The battery indicator doesn't change on the fitbit or on the app, so I think it's holding its charge, but it must be draining in the background because it will suddenly go dead with no warning. When I start to charge it again it comes to life and still says 78% battery! I've tried resetting it, I've switched it off completely and back on again, I've closed the app completely and reopened it then synced the fitbit but nothing makes a difference! It just continues to die on me with no warning. It lasted 5 hours today before it died! The app still said battery at 79%. What's going on???

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Aspenlea

I understand the situation with your Versa 4 draining the battery quickly, I'll do my best to help you with this. I thank you for the steps you've tried already.

My best recommendation would be for you to check in the Settings app on your device, find the brightness setting, and tap to change it. Also, turn off the always-on display setting (available on certain Fitbit devices). For more information, refer to How do I see the time on my Fitbit device? and consider changing your clock face, as animated clock faces may require more frequent charging. For more information, refer to How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

Hi,

I have the Exact same issue, and I''ve tried all Moderator mentioned steps- even reinstalled app, disconnected device, performed factory reset- but Factory reset won't work either🤔 It comes back same like after a restart.

Anyway, nothing works! Battey drains sooo fast.

My Device has only been in use for 13 months. I don't know what to do😵

So, what is this really about???

Fitbit App update coming up to solve this or maby Device update???

Something needs to be fixed by you guys!!!!!
