Just purchased versa4 and I must charge every day. When purchased I read battery keeps 6 day charge

As @Guy_ has mentioned, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.
That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

HI @seaconn1 - it may depend how you use it. If you are exercising with it and using the GPS it is quoted to have a battery life of only 5 hours.
If this is not the case the watch may have a fault because without the GPS you should get a minimum of 2 days.
Some things to try.
Try restarting the watch, hold the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
If you have chosen a new watch face try reverting back to the original.
Try turning off Bluetooth on the phone to see if the battery last longer.
You can chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
