Versa 4 battery is draining overnight

If I start the day with my Versa 4 fully charged, where it all day, go for a long walk etc it is still at 95% or so when I go to sleep

The next morning it is down to less than 10% meaning I have to charge it everyday, thought it was supposed to have a 6 day battery life

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you so much, turning off the Bluetooth on my iPad at night has solved the problem, after 48 hours it is @76%

it is a pity that Fitbit support couldn’t have told me this when I first raised this as an issue

thanks again

Hi @penpen57 - that behaviour is not normal, it is probable the watch has a fault.

However try turning off the phone Bluetooth at night first and also restarting it.

Also try switching to a Fitbit clock face without Always On.

If none of that fixes it get the watch replaced.

Thanks, I know it's not normal but Fitbit support have been completely useless and unhelpful especially as it is only 3 months old

I will try turning the Bluetooth off

Already have the right click face

It's good to see you back in the Community @penpen57

Thanks for the details regarding the inconvenience with your Versa 4.

Please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this articleSome of the feature that can drain the battery more rapidly are:

  • Built-in GPS (Charge 5 can have a battery life of up to 4 day when using this feature regularly, or up to 5 hours if you use it continuously).
  • Always-on display (Versa 4 can have a battery life of up to 3 days when using this feature).
  • Using an Sp02 clock face (Fitbit points out in this article that you may have to charge your Fitbit device more often when collecting SpO2 data).

In addition, try to perform a restart following the steps listed here below, this has been useful for other users experiencing something similar: Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button.

Thanks @Guy_ for your help.
