When my versa 4 battery gets to 32% the watch becomes unresponsive. The screen is blank and it will no longer sync with my phone. I have done the factory reset and updated it and it still does it. Is the battery bad or some other issue?

Hi @SunsetRunner - you can verify if the battery is bad because putting it on charge will show the current battery level and if around the same value means the battery is most likely fine.
If the watch is in Sleep mode it is normal the display will not come on by itself when raising your arm or swiping the screen, you will need to double tap it. To check, double tap and if the display comes on pull down on the screen and turn off all the icons to get to normal mode.
Other factors like the screen freezing which does happen can be resolved simply by restarting the watch [hold the button for a full 10 seconds].
If you did a factory reset and installed the same clock face try using a different clock face to see if the result is different, or in normal use just change clock face from the watch face [long gentle press may enable that] or the Fitbit App Gallery tile.

When I put it on the charger it reads 90%. If I let it charge to 100% it doesn’t even last a day till it shuts down at 32%.

@SunsetRunner- are you using a Fitbit clock face? If the watch is under warranty you can still contact customer support for a replacement otherwise.

It so the Fitbit clock face that it came with. I have no idea how to change it. How would I find out if it’s still under warranty?

@SunsetRunner - support can be reached using the link at the bottom of this topic.
In watch Settings, About Versa 4, System info, you will see the activation date. If this is less than your warranty period it is covered.

@SunsetRunner- it depends on the country, many have 2 years but America has only 1 year, unless you got an extension. Best to check with support.

Update. I charged the unit to 100%, left it on counter by itself, not on wrist. The unit shut down after 3.5 hours. Meaning it was unresponsive to double taps and pressing the side button. I attached it back on charger, when it turned on the battery read 95%. So, my question is: what’s wrong with it if the battery reads 95% and the unit shuts down?

@SunsetRunner- a software issue can cause it to shut down and if a factory reset doesn't cure it it can be a hardware issue, that means it needs replacing. See what Customer Support can help with [ link at the bottom of your post].
