Versa 4 day one blank screen

Put the Versa 4 on today - great! Now just blank. Will buzz after one second holding physical button but no screen. Tried to recharge but upon connection get continuous vibration. Tried reset but nothing on screen at all…..Help!

Thanks a lot for your troubleshooting efforts. 
It's always important to verify the Fitbit App is on the last update. 
Could you please try the steps shown below ? 

Synchronize your Versa 4 : Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Restart your device : How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Finally, change your clock face : How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

I cannot synchronise as the normal location in tools for synching says "looking" rather than connected. I tried the restart but it has no effect as the screen remains blank. I cannot change the clockface as the device is not connecting to my phone.

Its been used for less than 8 hours and has a 50% charge. I tried removing it from bluetooth with my phone but cannot pair with it again now. It seems totally dead,

is there a tech support?
