My Versa 4 is showing fewer steps than the app is showing. This makes no sense. Usually, the app would show fewer steps than the Fitbit device if the syncing hadn't been completed.

Same here. Noticed it a few days ago. Syncs fine.
Today I tried to see when it changed. I looked at my watch and app after my walk. They matched.
Didn't think about it for awhile. When I took my watch off to shower, my watch now shows almost 6000 steps less than it did...no longer matches my watch. Aggravating.

Stessa cosa a me. Da ieri applicazione segna molti più passi rispetto orologio

I had my Fitbit for 7 years and never had this problem. Now, by the end of the day my Versa 4 will have at least 1,500 less steps than the app. Very annoying, especially when the watch is brand new. What a disappointment!

I just noticed that my steps were different (by about 750 steps) this afternoon (September 11, 2024). My problem is the same as RohbeanT: my steps per the tracker are lower than the steps per the dashboard of my app.
Looking back on my phone, to see when the Fitbit app was last updated, it was one week ago (September 4, 2024).
